It's Christmas in July at Crafter's Companion!
Introducing your one-stop shop for all your holiday papercrafting needs.
Everything from stamp sets, to embossing folders, to CD Roms full of printables,
you'll find it all here in our Christmas shop!

Here's the card I made with some of our new products:

I used a sentiment from the new Sentimentals "Mistletoe Kisses"
a stamp line featuring four sets that are chock full
with every kind of holiday sentiment you could possibly need!
And I matted that on a piece of embossed cardstock using the new

It's Your Day, Be Fabulous

Happy Saturday morning, everyone!
I'm playing along with the Crafter's Companion Monthy Challenge
today, which is to use die cuts on your project.

I used another set from my favorite new range, Barkley,
this time featuring his adorable sidekick Purrdey the cat.
This set is called Be Fabulous and comes with several different
sentiments for maximum versatility.

I colored Purrdey with my Spectrum Noirs on
BG1, BG2, BG4, PP3, PP5, CR8, BT1, BT2, BT4, and BT5.

I hope you like it!
And I hope you'll head over to the CC Challenge Blog
and play along with us!

Have a great day!

Good Luck Feathers with Video Tutorial

Hey everyone!
How are you all doing?
I am keeping busy, busy, busy creating cards for the
Crafter's Companion booth at CHA Summer 2013 in Vegas.
Wish I were actually going, but having some of my cards featured
is the next best thing, am I right?

So today I was stamping with my brand-new Delicata Ink
that will be sold at Crafter's Companion in the very near future,
and I decided to go ahead and film a video since photos really
don't do the ink justice. It is so shiny and lovely in real life!

On camera it appears a little greenish, but in person,
it's golden perfection! You definitely need to give it a try.

Here's my card:

This close up is a more true image of the gold delicata  ink.

And the video:

Have an awesome day!

Lawnscaping Challenge #62

Hey everyone!

Our challenge is generously being sponsored by the wonderful
folks at Lawn Fawn who have offered up a free stamp set to our winner.

Thanks, Lawn Fawn!

Here's my card:

I stamped the small hot air balloon, sentiment, and small heart
from Blue Skies and the larger heart from Home Sweet Home
in gold Delicata ink onto papers from Basic Grey's What's Up collection.
I also went around the edges with the Delicata ink.
It doesn't show up as well on camera, but in real life it's quite pretty
and gold is super hot right now!

I hope you like it!

Please head over to the Lawnscaping Challenge blog
and check out the other amazing DT samples
and don't forget to play along!

Have a great day!

Let's Catch Up ~ A Sneak Peek, Shhh!

Hey everyone!
Today I am super excited to share a sneak peek of a brand-new line
that is soon to be released by Crafter's Companion.
This line is so new, it's not even up in the store yet!
But I'm so totally in love, I just couldn't wait to show it to you all.

The line features an adorable pup named Barkley, and his kitty pal.
And if you think the illustrations seem familiar, it's because they're drawn
by the AMAZING Ian Hollows, creator of the Mulberry Wood range.

Check it out:

Aren't they just the sweetest?
Gah! I die.
Super, super adorable.
I can't wait to color Barkley to look like my Zadie girl,
but for this card I wanted to keep him light to coordinate
with the color palette I chose.
I used my Spectrum Noir colors IG1, IG2, IG3, IG4,
BT1, BT2, BT4, CG1, CG2, CT1, CT2, PP1, PP3, and PP5
on my very favorite card stock, CC Ultra Smooth Premium White.

I hope you like it!
Have a great day!

For A Year That's As Amazing As You

Hey all!
Happy Saturday morning!
I hope you all all my fellow American crafty friends are
still enjoying all your Independence Day festivities!

Today I wanted to share a card I made last night
featuring one of my favorite stamp sets from Crafter's Companion,
Birthday Wishes from the Mulberry Wood line.

If you're like me, you can never have enough birthday cards on hand.
It seems like my kids are forever being invited to parties for their little friends,
and it's so nice to have a stash of handmade cards ready to go,
so all I have to worry about is the gift and getting them there on time! ;)

and colored these cute little critters in with my Spectrum Noirs.

I hope you enjoy it!

Have a great weekend!

Lawnscaping Challenge #61 with video tutorial

Hey everyone, happy Monday!

Special thanks to the wonderful folks at Simon Says Stamp
for sponsoring our challenge with a $25 gift certificate to our winner!

Simon Says Stamp

Here's my card:

I used Lawn Fawn's Sunny Skies stamp set,
along with their Circle Stackables dies,
and papers from the Simple Stories "I Heart Summer" 6x6 pad.

I used to find sketches rather intimidating, until I realized
that they are really more of a loose inspiration,
rather than a strict "YOU MUST DO THIS" guideline.

To walk you through just how easy and fun using a sketch can be,
I filmed a video of my entire process making this card.
I hope you enjoy it!

Have a great day!
